About a month ago, I thought it would be a great idea to to paint the bathroom. The people we bought the townhouse from thought that it would be a great idea to paint it puke yellow. I hated the color. This was the last remaining room we needed to paint to get away from the color.

 Even looking at it now bothers me!

I took everything out and discovered something fun:

Surprise! Two holes in the wall behind where the mirror was! Definitely patched those.

So I primed and all that fun stuff. I won't show you boring pictures of that. It's the same, but everything is white.

We decided on a blue, and I decided to go ahead and paint the vanity, change the shower curtain, and buy a real garbage can.

I LOVE it. The whole thing looks so much better. We can't afford to offically "redo" the bathroom yet, so this was the next best thing.

Right after I took this picture, Pete came home and helped me hang a sign that said "Bath" and had hooks on it. I hung the towels on the hooks, and it came crashing down, breaking the old ceramic towel rack and the old ceramic toilet paper holder and creating three more holes in the wall! Of course my $50 paint renovation ended up costing a little bit more after that, but I hear that's how those things go!
