so today i had my wisdom teeth out. all two of them. and they didn’t knock me out, they just gave me some super strong novacaine and it all lasted for about an hour. exciting, right?so now i have vicoprofen in my system (vicodin + ibprofen [spelling] = vicoprofen) so i should be starting to get dizzy and what not soon. and tired. although i’m already tired enough to sleep.

not too many interesting things going on (do you feel this leading into a boring post?), i’m in miami for the break, spending time w/the fam and the grandparents. next week we’re off to the camp in the everglades to swamp buggy ourselves around. yes we have a swamp buggy. yes it goes on land and through water. yes my family is crazy. we’ll practice our “shooting” and probably mow the lawn on the four wheeler and have ourselves a grand old time! it will be fun. and then there’s christmas, but this year doesn’t really feel like it for some reason i have yet to figure out.

last week i was in cali visiting pete’s family and they’re all great people. they made me feel like such a part of their fam and it was awesome. i showed pete’s dad how to use his new palm pilot, and hopefully he’s getting the hang of it by now. sierra madre was pretty but los angeles didn’t impress me as much as i thought it would. we did hit the venice beach boardwalk where we saw a lot of eccentric people selling stuff they made or playing music for money, and had lunch at the santa monica pier. while we were there, pete and his dad both ordered beers and i tasted pete’s, because i had never had a sam adams before. within 10 seconds our waiter rushed up to the table and carded me! he didn’t card either of them when they ordered the drinks, and then he cards me after i had a sip? whats up with that?

so anyways…..enough for now, i’m getting sleeping. its gonna be early to bed for me!
