so formal was pretty cool to say the least.

the bad:
1: it was raining at first. luckily peter was smart and brought his umbrella
2: they played that horrid milkshake song that mandy likes so much
3. even though most of it was interesting and he seemed like a nice man, senator luger (spelling?) talked for a very long time about things that seemed totally interrelated. most of the time i payed attention but pointing out to pete that jill sits up really straight was more amusing. 🙂 and it was really cold!
4. i wanted to try coffee with my cheesecake and there wasn’t any!
5. i couldn’t see peter when we were slow dancing because i’m blind to things that are close. he was just blurry. and thats no fun!
6. it took me like 20 minutes to get all the bobby pins out of my hair and the hairspray still isn’t out of it. icky

the good:
1. pete looked really good in his tux (a top hat really would have completed his whole ensemble, cuz he had tails and everything), and he surprised me with roses before he came to pick me up, and brought me a corsage. question: why do us girls wear flowers on our wrists?
2. i had a really cool table where i knew almost everyone (wasn’t formally introduced to cq’s gf or to my “big brother” john’s date)
3. got to bond with jill and sarah (sara?) and spencer’s date (gf?) tiffany. we had fun chatting while the guys were in the other room doing whatever it is they have to do before the formal can start
4. filet mignon was great!
5. i danced the first dance with peter
6. i danced at all, a really scary thing but i did it (not well), and i liked it when they played the good charlotte song even though i don’t like good charlotte because jumping around at a concert is a little more my forte
7. ben made me um…..”salsa” and twirled me around until i got dizzy! it was great fun!
8. they played baby got back. classic!
9. my shoes were actually comfortable
10. pete is amazingly romantic. and i’ll just leave it at that 🙂

as for everything else (long post isn’t it) i’m just procrastinating hardcore. so i have to go start my homework. second to last sex and the city tonight!!
