That’s based off a Shannon Burke show topic that was on there today. I listen to Shannon all day every day, because the music I’ve loaded on my comp at work reminds me of to many things sometime.

So I’m doing a little better. I’ve started running, had Pete help me make my life plan (wonderful is an understatement for him), and have a deadline for the end of cleaning/painting my apartment. Things always seem clearer when they’re on paper, and although I heard the other day that people that are in relationships only write in journals/diaries because they have something to hide from their significant other, I don’t think that that is completely true. I think that I need to start writing in it again, because there are some parts of yourself that you need for yourself, and maybe it will help me remember who I am again. Writing is so cathartic, especially by hand. And even if my handwriting is frighteningly masculine, it makes me sad that letter writing is lost. I used to love to write letters. Now email is faster and more convenient, but it’s not the same. But anyway.

I also cooked a pot roast last night (crock pottin’ it, oh yeah!), and it came out pretty good considering I threw it into the pot right before work the morning before. And I’m dreading running today, but I know I’ll feel better after. I also won a small victory against the real estate company that owns my complex. Since I moved in, they’ve been charging $840 a month. I didn’t mind paying that for the one month that I was living there until we closed, but then they pushed the closing date back to April 2007. Thanks to my super realtor, Jeff, my rent has been lowered to $715 a month. Woohoo! I think that I’m going to do something crazy like save up money for my laminate wood flooring for my place, or a washer/dryer once they steal mine back.

Anyway, plans, plans. And now I actually have work to do.
