I had a good weekend though. I showed the work peeps a weekend in pictures, but you won’t be so lucky. You only get two pictures. <\/p>\n

Saturday was spent at Brent and Mandy’s eating lots of food that I’m not allowed to eat, and watching football. Needless to say I was more catching up with everyone than paying attention to football. Baby Boostrom is due in 4-5 weeks! Hurray :). I’m sure they probably feel a little unprepared still (I think I would), but it’s so exciting. <\/p>\n

When I was home on Sunday, Tater decided that she wanted my attention, which resulted in this:<\/p>\n

Not two long after that Pete called, and after staying awake for 48 hours he was on his way back to my place with some of the ducks he killed. I didn’t know that I signed up for ducks with feathers in my fridge, but it’s a one time thing. The Saz says that I must love him to allow 12 dead ducks in my fridge. This is true, but I also grew up around my sorta Southern father, and as long as they’re out of there tomorrow, I’ll be very happy. <\/p>\n

Peter slept, then we went to get food at the Outback. That resulted in a stop at Whole Foods, a Christmas present (Vacuum sealer!) and a stop at Starbucks. We were debating something silly, and Pete kept threatening to ask Mr. Barista what his opinion was. It was definitely not an appropriate question, and that’s all I’m going to say about it. So when Mr. Barista gave me back my change, I promptly sped away. And then I heard, “YOU FORGOT YOUR DRINK!” As usual, I froze, and was like “Pete, I can’t get out of the car. You have to get it.” Since he knows his gf stops functioning when she gets really embarrassed, he did, and I took a picture:<\/p>\n

I also babysat for the Little Kid, and he seriously makes my day. I was putting him to bed, and I asked him if he wanted me to sing to him (something his parents do now). He goes, “No Linsy, I want to sing to you!” and he sang me “We are family” (which consists of him repeating “We are family” three times) and “Rockabye Baby”. So cute. I hope I know that family when I have kids, and Pete and I are like them. They’re so nice. A half hour just went by super fast, so I’m out to finish up with the packing.
