Who knew that a graduation party, an engagement party, and anxiously awaiting a baby could make me feel so old?<\/p>\n

I’ve known Marissa since her frosh year, and she’s graduated from college. Soon she’ll leave me to go to Nova, but her friendship has meant the world to me in the past 3 and a half years, and I’m going to miss her. <\/p>\n

And Paul and Hannah are younger than me and engaged, but I cried watching my "little freshman" Paul get up in front of sixty people and tell them that not only was he marrying the love of his life, but also his best friend. And it’s those moments when you a glimpse of the man that Paul is growing up to be. <\/p>\n

And then Mandy and Brent, and Allister. I can’t wait for this baby to be born. I feel like the two of them have grown up so much since the wedding, and now there’s a crib, Brent and Mandy, and a group of friends waiting for this little boy to come change our world. And he will, in ways we don’t even know yet. He’s not even mine and I already love him, just like I love his parents. <\/p>\n

Things are going by so fast, and I’m watching the world grow up around me. I know I’m a part of it all, but I don’t really feel like I’m growing up too. I wonder if I’ll always just feel like myself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
