Little Triumphs

This week has been so busy that after having dinner at Bento last night with Pete, Hatch, and Kari, I came home and slept for twelve hours.

It was a result of a few things. We had two big events last week, neither of which I was totally involved in. But on Take Your Child to Work Day, I wandered around our building, following our photographer in heels.

Thursday night we had our last tennis match, battling it out with Red Bug to come in second place. Kristin and I played pretty well for not hitting in awhile, and I'm looking forward to the summer league in the off season. I've been trying to find somewhere that holds clinics that I can play, but the one place that is close to our house wants me to put together my own clinic. I don't want the responsibility of that. I would rather just show up and play with strangers and have the option to not come out if I wanted to.

Today marks the day that we paid off our first credit card.

Yay

I just mailed in the check. We're busy planning for Ireland and paying off our debt, so it doesn't leave much monetary room for doing fun things. I'm hoping that tomorrow Pete and I can go to the downtown farmer's market to see what they have down there, and pick up some fresh produce.

I've also come to the end of my quest for living room chairs. My grandmother found these in a thrift store:

I am really really really excited about finding some fabric to get them recovered. She is giving them to us as a birthday/Christmas gift for the next few years. Hopefully we will be going to pick them up in the next few weeks, and they will fit in my car!
