Daytona was gorgeous. The weather was hot, the beach was beautiful, and it was just what I needed. A day to relax on the beach, have a huge bed that both Pete and I can comfortably fit in, and of course, great company.

Seeing Leelee is always fun, and I really like the way that she and Pete banter back and forth. But I had been waiting to see her for SO LONG because I was going to ask her to be one of my Maid of Honors :). And luckily she said yes! So, little cousin, I’m very excited about you being in the wedding, it’s going to be super fun!

Other than that, I had a migraine yesterday, skipped work to sleep it off, and woke up feeling so much better today. I’m off my hormones now, and I’ve already noticed that I’m not as hungry as I was when I was on them. It has been thunderstorming every afternoon, and while that was great yesterday when I was home, it’s going to suck for the drive home from work to day, but whatever.

Wedding planning is….wedding planning. I bought a new domain, so you can now find us at http://www.lindsayandpete.com, because I’m a super dork like that. I pretty much decided that I’m not going to do much wedding planning until after this weekend. I’m going to be out of town (you know you’ve been on The Knot too much when you want to abbreviate everything, like "out of town" into "OOT") yet again, this time for a fishing extravaganza with the parents down in good old Everglades City. The one funny thing about that town is that even though the population is small, the entire town has WiFi. Who knew?

I’m going to try really hard to not let the wedding planning take over my life. I don’t want to turn into the crazy girl. So I bought Wedding Planning for Dummies, which is the most comprehensive wedding book out there in my opinion. I also bought the Kit, which has a ton of spreadsheats, and now I will be the most organized bride ever…at least on the spreadsheets anyway!
