Spoiled
Yesterday I went to Publix to pick up some lunch meat to make my lunch for work, and of course I almost walked out of the store without getting any. Doesn’t it seem like you always forget the one thing that you need? I asked the cashier if I could leave my two bags there while I went and picked some lunch meat from the deli, and she said sure. When I get back, she asks the bagger where they are, and he’s like, "I don’t know." Someone stole my groceries! It’s more likely that the bagger accidently handed them to another person, but still! The cashier is like, "Just take a wagon and pick up the things you had on the receipt, it’ll be fine." So I did, but I still felt like I was stealing from the store, because I didn’t have to go through the checkout.
I’ve decided to try riding the bus again. It’s not that I WANT to ride the bus. I can just afford more if I write the bus. Do you know that I paid $2.76 for gas yesterday morning, and it cost me $30 to fill up my tank? With working being 25 miles away, I do that 2-3 times a week, and it costs me between 60-90. That makes gas alone between $240-$360 a month. But I really don’t want to ride the bus, which makes me feel so spoiled. How the hell did my dad afford me and my sister for all those years. He paid for everything for me until January. But anyway, taking the bus will save me like $300 a month. Why should I pay so much just to get to work? Damn Orlando and its lack of public transportation!
I feel you on the gas thing, but be glad the bus actually takes you where you need to go. I don’t think mosquitoes hardly even get out to where I work.
