Business
So apparently downtown San Jose has free wi-fi access. Of course I find this out on my third day here.
This is business travel: sleep, eat, stand in a conference center for four hours, eat, look out my window, nap, get starbucks, check the movie times, watch more tv, call people, eat again. Sometimes with a product manager, sometimes by myself. Feel like I’m dying because I have no outside connection to the world (meaning no internet). Stare out the window. Wait for it to stop raining to I can wander around downtown. Miss Pete and Tater. Wish I could check email.
Don’t get me wrong, this has been fun and all, but I do like my weekends, and being forced to do nothing makes me bored. I like to do nothing when it’s a choice. The hotel room is amazing, with an amazing marble bathroom that has a seperate shower stall and garden tub. Carina comes tonight after work. I might go to the movie theater and watch The Queen, because it will take her an hour to get here. Movies here are $9.50 fo
