I never took 5 classes in one semester except when I was a freshman and they were all gen. ed. AND I dropped down to 3 classes one time because I couldn’t keep up with all the reading for 4. Sometimes teachers are crazy. Do you remember that one semester where I had to buy like 25 books for 3 classes??? Don’t worry! You’ll be okay. =)

Does that mean read them all? If so, I certainly never did that. And very certainly not for 5 classes. And like Elizabeth, I too dropped one of my 4 lit. classes once. Pshhh…I say whatever to that insane stack of novels.
Only a person who magically doesn’t need to sleep would be able to “keep up,” as you say, with the novels for 5 classes while still doing things like working, being in a relationship, playing sports/exercising, maintaining friendships, etc. And even then, I’m not sure if they could do it. So there.
You’re doing fine! One day, you’ll be able to read for pleasure–until then, just read enough to survive! 🙂
