So I’m pretty much obsessed with all things pit bull right now. I read pit bull blogs, I read articles, I’m hopefully contributing to Stubby Dog, and I’m looking for somewhere to volunteer. It’s Sunday morning and Pete and I are at Jack and Mary’s, our diner of choice.
We spent Saturday night celebrating a magical early Valentine’s Day by pretending to be grown ups. Dinner at Kres, followed by attending Celtic Women (my idea, of course) at the new Amway Arena. The spritely Máiréad Nesbitt pranced around the stage with her fiddle as I leaned over to Pete and said, “I’m going to start doing that around the house.”
He laughed and replied, “We don’t have enough space for that!”
Joey came to us in the way most stray dogs probably end up with a home: someone tells their husband they just HAVE to pick up this REALLY CUTE dog who JUST NEEDS A FRIEND.
